It’s been a pretty miserable weekend with the weather, but I was keeping an eye on it and it looked like Bank Holiday Monday was going to turn out alright. So today Amy and I decided rather than laying around the house doing nothing at all, we’d go out and enjoy a nice sunny day out and about.Firstly we travelled to Dunstable Downs where there were masses of people walking about enjoying the sun, as well as people flying their kites.

It was nice to lie down and relax with a bit of sun and a cool breeze. Although I got sunburned on just one side of my body and face so I look a little bit like ‘Two Face’ out of Batman 
We then went off to one of Amy’s favourite places; Ampthill Park. It’s a really nice area, which has a nice mixture of fields and woods.

It’s quite a walk as it’s a pretty large place, but there’s quite a lot of hills and little dirt tracks going off in all directions. I’d recommend it for an afternoon out if you’re ever stuck for ideas and want a place to go off and chill out at.
